Thanks Radio Pet Lady! Treats arrived in good condition. Best soaked in water first for both of our tummies, as it turns out. Listen to the whole pod cast. Seriously.
Enjoy note cards or coffee mugs with me! http://www.zazzle.com/rainbowsplash
We will be special guests on pet expert Tracie Hotchner’s show, the Radio Pet Lady’s podcast, airing Monday, Jan 6th. Put it on your calendar. Discussion will be with expert vet Dr. Elizabeth Hodgkins about how much and what kind of foods we need to eat. (Why? Simba, not me.)
Special hand-knitted mouse sent by Ellen in Norway. It looked a little less frazzled when it arrived.
I was a winner on Martha Stewart Radio’s Cat Chat with Tracie Hotchner, author of The Cat Bible and The Dog Bible. Everyone gathered around to listen when the winner was announced. The big dad gave me a trophy, too. Simba wasn’t very impressed, though, and Bella, the dog, was indifferent. I look forward to receiving my winnings, a Nekko flies toy.
Nothing can stop me now! I even went into Bella’s room and got past her to get outside and made it. She chased me back in the house, though….drats, will try again.
A congratulatory Facetime moment with my Number 1 and 2 fans, Lola and Galina!!!

The fam went on vaca and left Galina in charge. She let us have a P-A-R-T-A-Y, oh, yeah, for Simba’s birthday!!!
As soon as they left, Simba broke open the door to the ‘rents’ room. Better sun and bigger bed in that room. That’s what I’m talkin bout! Didn’t expect the fam back so soon, though, so left it a bit untidy…..on the upside, I learned how to jump up onto the kitchen counter after missing it so many times…oh, yeah,
who da man.
10:00 a.m. A little under the weather today. Hope it goes away soon. 🙁 🙁 🙁
UPDATE 5:20 p.m.: Dr. Julio at California Animal Hospital on Sepulveda (really like him) said that I’m acting like a cat is supposed to – except for the throwing up part. Got a shot to stop it, though (really did NOT like that AT ALL). Should be good by tomorrow. Will try to eat some this evening.
I’m now a whopping 3.7 pounds (probably more yesterday since, uh, couldn’t keep down what, uh, I ate the day before)…
UPDATE 9/5/11: Played with empty paper towel tube, attacked Simba’s ankles, ate, attacked Simba’s ankles, played with paper towel tube – FEELIN’ BETTA!!!!!! Time to nap.
UPDATE: Tuesday 9/6/11 . . . driving the household c-r-a-z-y . . . ha, ha, I’m back!
I believe I’m settling in nicely. Wonderful food, wonderful family. Check out my new pics I just uploaded to my Photos of Me page.
Welcome to my blog. What a first week I have had. I was 1 pound, but now I’m 2! Here’s what my first day after being found was like. The one in the box was taken hours after I was found.
My first bath, my first nap, second nap, first toy…. remember to read my About Me page. Click on About Me at the top.
